The only case where 720p would be an issue is content when readable text on your stream is a must, like programming. WebJan 10, 2024 · But, the performance hit may make it unusable for streaming. If your stream looks bad with the auto settings (regardless of being choppy), the twitch program is probably defaulting to really low quality ecoding settings. "Faster" and "Fast" presets for CPU encoding should look quite good.
