WebJan 4, 2011 · DO shop around before buying. I got a Desert Eagle 1911G from my local dealer for $4 less than Bud's had it for, and didn't have to pay the FFL fee or shipping. To their credit (or their supplier's lowering the price) they are now $30 less (PLUS FFL and shipping). Decide what you want and then compare prices.
