Flame perthite

WebFlame perthite is the dominant feldspar microtextures in samples of Dongargarh granitoids. One of the special feature observed is a twined K-feldspar grain, which is separated by a thin calcite vein (~1 μm in width). In this sample, perthite lamella is radiating from the direction of orientation of calcite vein (Fig 2d). http://www.minsocam.org/MSA/AmMin/TOC/Articles_Free/1999/Vernon_p1760-1765_99.pdf
